Summer Bucket List

With Memorial Day quickly approaching, it truly feels as if summer is just around the corner.  Technically, I guess summer doesn't start until nearly the end of June, but I think we all feel like summer starts this weekend.

So, with a little inspiration from the Chick-Fil-A kid's meal bag, we put together a Summer Bucket List.

I already had this little tin bucket, and I found the clothes pins in the laundry supply section at Target.  I just wrote on each pin with a Sharpie and clipped it to the bucket.

When we do an activity, we'll simply drop the pin in the bucket...and maybe replace it with a new idea.  At the end of the summer, we can look back at how much we have (hopefully) accomplished!  Sometimes I can't even remember what I did last weekend, yet alone in an entire season.  So I'm pretty excited about this super quick way to "journal" our summer!

What's on your Summer Bucket List this year?  We've still got some empty pins to fill.  Post a comment below, and I'll share some of your ideas (with blog links if you like) in a post next week.  Thanks so much!

Be sure to visit Your Summer Bucket List Suggestions for some ideas to add to your own bucket list!

  4. Super cute! What a great way to encourage the family to try new activities together. How about a nighttime walk or stargazing in the backyard? I know my 4 year old would be thrilled to be outside past bedtime!

  6. Great idea! A few possibilities: go to a parade, botanical garden (my kids loved those even when they were little!), music at the park.

Following you from Six Sisters and would love to have you come by and join up our Weekend Blog Walk at At Home Take 2. http://www.athometake2.blogspot.com.
